This site is dedication to the development and deployment of a radical new look at text-based communications.

For many years the Internet Relay Chat Protocol (RFC-2812) has been the dominent people perform multiple audience conferencing.

Unfortunatly, the protocol standard hasn't been updated to take advantage of the new technologies created for the web (e.g. XML, Internationalization, Unicode, etc.)

It is the developers' wish to expand on the currently used protocol and create a new standard using web-based technologies, and develop a Java-based client to take advantage of the new protocol.
